Farmwork
Become a member of Our Team
Farmstrong Friendly Farms promotes reciprocity and resilience, from the ground up. For our communities to be resilient, we need a decentralized food system. To develop a decentralized food system, we need more people working in agriculture, learning farm skills and bringing new ways of thinking to the industry. No matter your background, you have skills and talents that the agricultural industry needs!
Farmstrong Friendly Farms offers several volunteer opportunities for youth and adults. Activities focus on learning, skill building, giving back to the land and the community, and bringing home to your family something that you helped produce. From day-to-day chores to seasonal all-hands-on-deck projects, we encourage volunteers to find their passion and use it to serve our land and their community.
As we grow, Farmstrong Friendly Farms may be able to offer paid employment, but for the time being, as beginning farmers, we need to support our family financially before we can guarantee steady employment for the passionate people who might apply to join our team. If someone has volunteered in all the listed positions, they are eligible to apply for the paid position of farmsitter.
